We're also very excited for Ralph Fiennes' The Duchess, but technically, ye know, we are the In Bruges Fansite so hey. The awardshow will take place in London on 30 November 2008. Presence of any of the nominees above has not been announced or confirmed. The In Bruges Fansite is sad to inform you we will not be covering the event due to lack of assurance whether it will pay off or not (let's face it, it's a good thing we hadn't made arrangements to go to the premiere in Bruges), and also because the webmaster is already off to London this weekend. That shit would get too expensive.
So mark your calendar, count down the days and keep your fingers crossed, and let's trust that this is just a hint of what's to come ( --- *cough* Oscars *cough* ---).
Our belief in the magnificence of "In Bruges" never faltered, we'd simply forgotten about the award season.
Since Award Season is slowly approaching and the first hits have been made, the In Bruges Fansite is back in business to keep up with nominations, buzz and possible appearances. Stay tuned.
