They were organizing screenings in 3 different cities in Belgium, but they had
to cancel them, due to no interest from the audience's part! They only had
12 bookings. You read it right; 12.The number being quite uhmmm let s say "low" Kinepolis decided not to play the movie AT ALL
when it will be released in summer...they might change their minds if they see the movie
works well in small theaters....
Well, you heard it here first. I don't even have to comment on this, I think this was predicted a while ago by many more people than just me. If you make the release date June people will lose interest or just download. Just sayin'. It might actually do great this summer after all. But I think this is a friendly message or perhaps the proof that Universal does not invest enough in Belgian PR for the film. They could make lots of money off it but they just don't seem to want to bother.
Yes, it could have been true that not everyone who may have been interested heard about this. But if such previews would have been organized in February or March, people would have been standing in line because back then people were still alert to it. Universal, your audience has fallen asleep. What are you gonna do about it?
